PHP Picture Index is an open source picture gallery designed to be a one file script that when copied to a folder will show all folders and images, in that folder and sub-folders, with thumbnails (something that the default Apache index does not do). No installation (aside from uploading the script) or databases required. The zoom feature can be toggled by clicking the full view image if slimbox is disabled.
