Shampoo PHP Photo Gallery Script is a tiny script that creates a photo gallery system from a directory structure. It creates and caches thumbnails automatically and allows you to easily add captions and descriptions for albums. It uses minimalist markup, valid HTML and CSS and a sprinkling of unobtrusive JavaScript which is used for progressive enhancement and can be removed entirely with no loss of functionality.

The script also supports showing FLV and MP4 videos. Thumnails for them are created automatically too. Albums can be made private with a password. Setup is very simple and simply requires putting files in a base directory and changing the album title to one of your choice. Lastly, you can add captions and album descriptions using a very simple text file.
